Extremism and Violence has no place in Islam.
There is nothing ISLAMIC about what terrorists do. Associating the term “Islamic extremist” with these murderers leads to Islamophobia which stirs unwarranted fear in people when they hear/see a Muslim and unjustly associates terrorism with Islam. People who do these heinous crimes are murderers and no religious community accepts their actions. Would you call the shooter in NZ a Christianic terrorist? That makes no sense. None of these actions are condoned in any religion!
Islam and terrorism don’t belong as words next to each other no matter what anyone says. Its clearly a huge misinterpretation of Islam. There are 1.8 billion Muslims on this planet. Think about that. Does OBL get to represent them with his “understading” of Islam behind his actions? Seriously, come on. All these people who are so “killing” in the name of Islam represent <0.001% of the Muslim population. To deny that is a huge mistake and perpetuates ignorance.
